Barry Nelson
President
Barry R. Nelson has served as President of GPA since 2021, leading the company’s strategic growth, product innovation, and market expansion initiatives. With extensive experience in commercial leadership and P&L management, Barry has helped drive GPA’s continued success through customer-focused strategies and operational excellence. Prior to GPA, he held senior leadership positions at DS Smith, Veritiv, and NewPage.
Kim Hajec
SVP Marketing & Corporate Strategy
Kimberly Hajec is a marketing and strategy executive with 25+ years of experience leading growth, brand transformation, and market expansion across B2B and B2C technology companies. She spent nearly a decade at HP Inc. in senior marketing and product leadership roles within the Industrial Print division. Prior to HP, she held global marketing leadership positions at Tungsten Network, Pictometry International, and Eastman Kodak.
Jules Gonzales
SVP Sales
Jules Gonzales serves as Senior Vice President of Sales at GPA, leading the company’s North American sales organization and strategic growth initiatives across commercial print, specialty substrates, and digital print technologies. He has played a key role in expanding GPA’s presence in emerging markets, production inkjet, and engineered paper applications. Known for his collaborative and people-focused leadership style, Jules is passionate about building high-performing teams and long-term customer partnerships.
Ron Gasior
SVP Operations
Ron brings more than 30 years of operations leadership experience across manufacturing, warehouse management, and supply chain. He has led operational turnarounds through process improvement, efficiency gains, and cultural transformation. Throughout his career, Ron has held senior leadership roles at Pactiv, Rapak, and DS Smith, where he focused on integration, performance improvement, and operational optimization. He holds an MBA from Wilmington University and a B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University.
Giulia Fermi
Global HR Business Partner
Giulia Fermi is an international HR leader focused on organizational growth, leadership, and business partnership. After beginning her career in talent strategy consulting at Mercer, she joined Fedrigoni Group as an HR Business Partner in Italy before relocating to the U.S. to lead HR for GPA and Fedrigoni Special Papers North America. Giulia holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and is a qualified psychologist in Italy.
Anthony Konopka
Corporate Controller
T.J. Konopka is a finance professional and certified public accountant with 25+ years of experience across public and private accounting environments. He began his career at KPMG in Albany, New York, where he served public, private, and nonprofit clients across multiple industries. Over the past 20+ years, he has held senior financial leadership roles in both publicly traded and private equity–backed companies, overseeing SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and controllership functions. He earned a double major in Accounting and Economics, with a minor in Finance, from Hartwick College.
